1960s Morris Minor Gown van.
NGH 97D is a rare gown van based on the Minor van chassis and cab. The rear body is coachbuilt utilising aluminium panels screwed to an inner timber frame. The idea for these vans was to transport garments hanging on rails inside. The conversion was done by Hawson-Garner of Andover in Hampshire. Less than 50 such conversions were built.

The Morris photograph above wasn't taken by me, but by G. King, and is shown on oldclassiccar with his permission. His photos were taken at various locations a few years ago, including photos of classic Morrises such as the Minor Gown van shown above. From what I can tell, some of the cars and vans featured were seen at shows (eg at the NEC and Alexandra Palace in London), whereas others were spotted out and about in daily use, or parked up at the side of the road.
