1960s SAAB Sonett.


This photo was taken in the mid 1980s and shows a rare Saab V4 Sonnet sports car. The 900 Turbo towcar was dad's and we'd borrowed the car to display in on the Saab Owners Club stand at a show in Manchester somewhere. I'm sure this car still exists although when I last checked the registration VJA 1 is now on a modern Saab. This particular Sonnet belonged to a Saab dealer in the area.

The photo on this page of the classic Sonett from SAAB is one of several thousand images to be found across oldclassiccar. This picture is one of 105 that feature in this particular set, which contains miscellaneous images taken at a variety of events since 1990. Some of them were scanned from traditional print photographs and as such aren't the same quality as those that were taken on my digital camera.
