Triumph Spitfire 1500 Photo.
The final evolution of the Spitfire is represented by the 1500cc Spitty shown here. The Spit first came out back in 1962 and had the 1147cc version of the small Triumph engine (also found in the Herald). Later versions had a 1296cc engine and the final ones had the 1500cc lump (shared with the rubber bumper MG Midget). Further up is a '65 MGB and a Stag.
