Produced throughout the 1950s was the S-Type lorry as seen in this photograph. The Army bought large numbers of the 4x4 RL version that shared the basic design of this cab.

If you have any more information on this particular S-Type I'd be interested to hear from you, as I'm the first to admit that I am no expert on identifying older vehicles, lorries in particular.
