Bedford CAS Van.
Here we have a nice early Bedford CA panel van. This is a CAS (short wheelbase version). The CAL featured a longer wheelbase and increased load area. It was built in 1954 and has a 1500cc engine as found in contemporary Vauxhall saloons.

Classic lorry and van photos from the Gaydon truck show.
In addition to the Bedford CAS Van shown above, were many other classic and vintage lorries, both large and small. I've featured 85 of the photos I took at this particular show, held at the Gaydon motor museum in Warwickshire, in 2005. Whether you're a fan of all Bedfords, or just CAS Vans like the one shown here, I'd recommend a visit to this show.
