The green/black dropside shown here is the famous S series from Bedford. A military version featuring 4x4 running gear was also available to the armed forces and was known as the RL. This civvy example was seen at Gaydon in 2005.

Classic lorry and van photos from the Gaydon truck show.
In addition to the Bedford S Series shown above, were many other classic and vintage lorries, both large and small. I've featured 85 of the photos I took at this particular show, held at the Gaydon motor museum in Warwickshire, in 2005. Whether you're a fan of all Bedfords, or just S Series like the one shown here, I'd recommend a visit to this show.
