Pilot saloons are fairly rare now so the commercial variants must be really really rare. This fab example is restored in the colours of a Fordson agent's service vehicle. The stamped up wooden crate in the back is a nice touch.

Classic lorry and van photos from the Gaydon truck show.
In addition to the Ford V8 Pilot pickup shown above, were many other classic and vintage lorries, both large and small. I've featured 85 of the photos I took at this particular show, held at the Gaydon motor museum in Warwickshire, in 2005. Whether you're a fan of all Fords, or just V8 Pilot pickups like the one shown here, I'd recommend a visit to this show.
