A real rarity on UK shores is this M.A.N. Lorry from 1954. Compare it to 50s lorries in the UK and its roomy & airy cab must have been a revelation to drivers back then. Note the wide (and curved!) one piece screen fitted to the MAN trucks.

Classic lorry and van photos from the Gaydon truck show.
In addition to the MAN Diesel lorry shown above, were many other classic and vintage lorries, both large and small. I've featured 85 of the photos I took at this particular show, held at the Gaydon motor museum in Warwickshire, in 2005. Whether you're a fan of all MANs, or just Diesel lorrys like the one shown here, I'd recommend a visit to this show.
