Photos from the Oulton Park Gold Cup in 2004Notes on this classic Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica seen at the Gold Cup in '04.The factory built Le Mans Replica was a popular choice for motor racing in the early 1950s. This one was built in 1952 and has a 1971cc engine with side exit exhausts. It was entered in the HGPCA race for pre-1959 drum braked sports cars.
99 photographs of this August meeting in 2004 are featured on oldclassiccar. Picture 24 above is just one of these, to see the others road and competition cars, please go to the Oulton Park Gold Cup page. The 3 day event was held between 28-30th August 2004 and is now one of the main historic events held in the North(ish) of England. |

Due to the many gaps (!) I have in my knowledge of historic racing cars, if you can provide details of any cars featured in this section (and for example the Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica on this page) by all means drop me a line via the contact page.
