Notes on this classic SAAB 96 seen at the Gold Cup in '04.

Fitted with the 1970s SAAB Minilite-look wheels is this bullnose two stroke SAAB 96. They were a popular choice for rallying in the early 1960s and lend themselves to historic events now. Eric Carlsson was one of the best known SAAB rally drivers in his GT 750 2 stroke.

The 3 day event was held between 28-30th August 2004 and is now one of the main historic events held in the North(ish) of England.
