The handsome little Austin lorry shown here looks to date from the 1950s. This one I suspect dates to the late 1950s - earlier trucks didn't have wrap-around one piece screens such as that fitted to this restored Austin. This one belongs to its owner in Wardle (Cheshire). I'd be interested to include more details of this cars history, so if you own the Dropside truck shown below, or are a bit of an expert on the subject of Austin then by all means get in touch. |
