Similar to the DS but without the groovy headlights that following the steering wheels around corners is the more basic ID 19. 'Riding on a cushion of air' was the advertising spiel of the day and for good reason. Back in the 50s Citroen were renowned for producing innovative and quirky cars. Think also of the 2CV and the advanced front wheel drive Traction Avant. The DS is a super stylish old car but can be a nightmare to restore I believe.
