The classic 'sit up and beg' Ford sidevalve of the 1950s. Big brother to the 103E Popular the Prefect is another cheap 10hp motorcar that Ford of Dagenham sold in the 1950s. It was basically a revised version of the pre-war E93A and brought slightly more uptodate with its faired in headlamps. I'd be interested to include more details of this cars history, so if you own the Prefect E493A shown below, or are a bit of an expert on the subject of Ford then by all means get in touch. |
