John Fowler Traction engine.Picture taken at the Kelsall Classic Car Show, Cheshire.
This huge steam traction engine is of the type that would have been seen on farmers fields up and down the land operated ploughs and other implements in the 1930s and earlier. Despite having large grooves in its rear wheels the traction on slippery grass could still be a problem. I'd be interested to include more details of this cars history, so if you own the Traction engine shown below, or are a bit of an expert on the subject of John Fowler then by all means get in touch. |
