A few notes on this classic Austin:

PYB 196 is an A40 Somerset dating to the early/mid 1950s at a guess. I once owned a beige example (1953) and had a number of hair raising moments in it. The curvy Somerset replaced the earlier upright Devon in Austin's medium car line-up.
