A few notes on this classic Daimler:

Model codes of 50s and 60s Daimlers take some interpreting but I think this is the Majestic model of the late 1950s or early 1960s. Standard Majestics were powered by a straight six engine whereas the Major benefited from the wonderful 4.5 Turner-designed V8 powerplant.
