Notes on this classic Alfa Romeo Giulia Super seen on 13th Nov 2005.
Made famous in The Italian Job pursuing the Mini Coopers was the 4 door Alfa Romeo Giulia saloon like this one. Power is from the classic twin cam engine of 1570cc.
This picture, of an early Giulia Super, is photo number 33 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
