The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic Austin Healey 3000 Mk3 seen on 13th Nov 2005.

The 3.0 Healey here has been significantly tweaked from the standard road car. This one is from 1964 and is driven by a Dutch crew I believe. Note the extra ventilation let into the front wings.

Classic Austin Healey 3000 Mk3 car on this vintage rally

This picture, of an early 3000 Mk3, is photo number 42 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
