The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic Austin Mini Mk1 seen on 13th Nov 2005.

This Mk1 Mini (848cc) dates to 1961 and came over from Ireland to participate in this rally. Power will be well down on the Cooper models also in the entry but the fun level will be just as high I'm sure.

This picture, of an early Mini Mk1, is photo number 64 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
