The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005
Notes on this classic Ford Cortina Lotus seen on 13th Nov 2005.
Car 48 is a 1967 Ford Cortina Lotus Mk2 entered by the Gillespies. Forward motion is provided thanks to 1558cc of twin cam Lotus power.
This picture, of an early Cortina Lotus, is photo number 39 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
