The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic Ford Zodiac Mk2 seen on 13th Nov 2005.

This two tone 6 cylinder Zodiac is powered by 2553cc of Ford engine. This type was often tuned up with Raymond Mays' conversions in the 1960s to make them fly in competitive events such as this. Apart from the bonnet pins and extra lamps this Zodiac looks pretty standard.

This picture, of an early Zodiac Mk2, is photo number 25 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
