The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic Jaguar Mk2 3.8 seen on 13th Nov 2005.

The only Jaguar saloon I saw on the event was this 1964 Mk2 from the Netherlands. Some of the grille slats have been removed and grilles added to the bonnet to aid engine cooling. The drivers keep cool thanks to the full length Webasto sunroof.

This picture, of an early Mk2 3.8, is photo number 26 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
