Notes on this classic Mercedes Benz 280 SL seen on 13th Nov 2005.

The front corner of this desirable SL Mercedes has been re-modelled slightly and will take some straightening out.

Classic Mercedes Benz 280 SL car on this vintage rally

This picture, of an early 280 SL, is photo number 83 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
