The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic MG MGA dhc seen on 13th Nov 2005.

This 1600 MGA roadster was built in 1960. The MGA was the forerunner to the MGB that came along in '62 and also used the B-series engine. The MGA was also available in twin cam form - unlike the MGB.

This picture, of an early MGA dhc, is photo number 12 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
