MG MGA fhc rallycar.
The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005Notes on this classic MG MGA fhc seen on 13th Nov 2005.The 1958 fixed head coupe (fhc) MGA will offer better weatherproofing than the open top variants also competing in this run. The grille has been relieved of some vertical bars to aid engine cooling. Note the extra brake air ducts that have been fitted (below the Lucas foglamps).
This picture, of an early MGA fhc, is photo number 68 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire. |

I'd be interested to include some more background info on the MG above, so if you own, or drive, this MGA fhc, please get in touch, thanks!
