The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic MG TD seen on 13th Nov 2005.

Large (Notek?) lamps and a fair smattering of mud are the only clues to the sporting life that this just-postwar MG now leads. It was a cold bright Sunday morning when this photograph was taken and woolly hats were definitely required!

Classic MG TD car on this vintage rally

This picture, of an early TD, is photo number 47 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
