The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic Mini 1275 seen on 13th Nov 2005.

According to the entry list this is a 1963 Mini 1275 although it looks like a Mk3 Mini to me as there is no sign of sliding windows or early style grille. The A registration is however c1963. Is this an earlier car fitted with some parts from a Mk2 or Mk3 Mini perhaps?

Classic Mini 1275 car on this vintage rally

This picture, of an early 1275, is photo number 74 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
