The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005

Notes on this classic Morris Minor 1000 seen on 13th Nov 2005.

Morris Minors are still regular sights at classic car shows but few appear in rally guise. The Moggy Minor photographed here is from 1959 and has the revvy 948cc engine. Apart from a couple of extra lamps and lack of hubcaps this example looks remarkably original.

Classic Morris Minor 1000 car on this vintage rally

This picture, of an early Minor 1000, is photo number 80 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
