Notes on this classic Sunbeam Alpine seen on 13th Nov 2005.

1592cc of Rootes power are enough to propel the stylish 2 seater Alpine along at a very reasonable rate of knots. Marks should be awarded for a suitably period steering wheel cover on this example!

Classic Sunbeam Alpine car on this vintage rally

This picture, of an early Alpine, is photo number 87 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
