A few notes on this classic Aston Martin DBR2:
Whereas the DBR1 has a 3 litre engine the DBR2 as seen here has a unit of 4.2 litres. This car is from 1957.
If you can provide more info on DBR2s, or other Aston Martins similar to this, please get in touch. In all there are 170 photographs featured from the 2006 revival, including competition cars, service vehicles, pushbikes, and a few interesting old motors owned by visitors to the race. To make things more manageable, they have been split into 2 sets (this Aston Martin is in set 1).
