A few notes on this classic Austin A105 Westminster:
Racing in comfort were Jim Woodley and John Fitzpatrick in VAB 719 - a six cylinder Austin Westminster from 1958. No production Austins had wheels that wide - note the subtly modified arches and improved cooling arrangements.
If you can provide more info on A105 Westminsters, or other Austins similar to this, please get in touch. In all there are 170 photographs featured from the 2006 revival, including competition cars, service vehicles, pushbikes, and a few interesting old motors owned by visitors to the race. To make things more manageable, they have been split into 2 sets (this Austin is in set 1).
