A few notes on this classic Standard Vanguard Phase 3:
Late model Vanguards are not too common now and a very unusual sights on a racing circuit. This Vanguard was due to be co-driven by Richard Attwood in the St. Mary's Trophy race for saloon cars of a type that raced between 1950 - 1959.
If you can provide more info on Vanguard Phase 3s, or other Standards similar to this, please get in touch. In all there are 170 photographs featured from the 2006 revival, including competition cars, service vehicles, pushbikes, and a few interesting old motors owned by visitors to the race. To make things more manageable, they have been split into 2 sets (this Standard is in set 2).
