The ERA R1A
One of 9 ERA-built cars that appeared at Shelsley Walsh's Centenary Meeting in August 2005. This car - R1A - has a 1488cc engine and was first constructed in 1934. A Roots supercharger is used. Raymond Mays won the Nuffield Trophy with this car in 1934.

I'm the first to admit that my knowledge on such vehicles often leaves a lot to be desired, so if you have some interesting facts that could be added in with this ERA photograph, or have specific stories relating to this R1A then please contact me via the oldclassiccar Contact page.
