The Hardy Special II Racing
In spirit similar-ish to the Auto Union layout of front driver and rear mounted engine. Although A-U never had chain drive as far as I know.. The Hardy Special II was developed with parts from 1922 to 1934 and had a supercharged engine of 996cc capacity.

I'm the first to admit that my knowledge on such vehicles often leaves a lot to be desired, so if you have some interesting facts that could be added in with this Hardy photograph, or have specific stories relating to this Special II Racing then please contact me via the oldclassiccar Contact page.
