The Vauxhall TT
Seen here driving the 1922 TT Vauxhall is Julian Ghosh. This car has an extensive association with the Shelsley Walsh hillclimb prior to WW2. Originally owned by Raymond Mays this car took BTD (Best Time of Day) a total of 4 times between 1929 and 1932. He set a hill record with this car of 45.6s back in 1930. Mays would later find great success with his ERA single seaters.

I'm the first to admit that my knowledge on such vehicles often leaves a lot to be desired, so if you have some interesting facts that could be added in with this Vauxhall photograph, or have specific stories relating to this TT then please contact me via the oldclassiccar Contact page.
