Classic Bedford chip van.
Commercial vehicles often came with fabulous one-off coachwork. A fabulous example is this mobile fish & chip van. So many commercials lose their job-specific rear bodies and are replaced with simple wooden flatbeds. Top marks to whoever restored this one as a chip van. Bedford model codes are notoriously confusing but I'm fairly sure this is based on the popular O series.
Bedford Books Whether for the chip van as shown below, or any other type of Bedford, it is worth having a look on Amazon for books, DVDs, Videos etc.

chip van on display at Tatton Park, Cheshire.
If you have any more info or restoration stories about this particular chip van, or chip vans in general, I'd really like to feature it on oldclassiccar.
I took all these photos at the classic & vintage show held at Tatton Park, in June 2005. The Bedford shown above was one of several hundred vehicles held in the grounds of this National Trust property.
