MG 1100 photograph.

This immaculate 1100 (ADO16 series) was built in 1966 and is showing off its immaculately restored 1098cc A series engine. The ADO16 appeared in many different guises - the MG was the sporty version with its twin SU carbs and extra instrumentation over the more plodding Austin & Morris versions.Those after luxury could choose either the Vanden Plas or the Wolseley derivatives. There was also a Riley version named the Kestrel (a name lifted from proper Rileys of the 1930s).
