Rolls-Royce Silver Wing photograph.Rolls-Royces of the 1930s were commonly re-styled by talented coachbuilders up and down the land. Later monocoque cars rarely attract the attentions of the coachbuilding fraternity which makes this Spur - based Silver Wing quite an unusual car. The bodywork was re-worked by Hooper. A partially open-top R-R sounds like a good idea although the bulky folded hood isn't particularly elegant in my opinion but must make for a pleasant ride for those sat in the rear quarters. Also note the rear spats.
