Wolseley 18/85 photograph.In the 1960s all the major manufacturers were into re-badging basic saloons as more exclusive sounding variants. The 18/85 Wolseley was a badge-engineered BMC 1800 that was also available in Austin and Morris versions. The end for the Wolseley marque was in sight. Early Princesses were available with a tiny Wolseley grille tacked on the front but they soon disappeared and that was curtains for this once-great motor manufacturer.This 18/85 looks very original and its good to see examples being saved now.
