Connaught 2.0litre G/Prix car by The Crescent Toy Co. Ltd
Connaught enjoyed some success with their Bristol-powered racing cars during the fifties. This model is one of my favourites, not a car ever covered by the Dinky range as far as I know. My old transporter used to occasionally transport a Connaught like this to races across the UK for D. Poore when not racing his pre-war Alfa Romeo.
Measures: 100mm in length. Approximate value £25-£35
Colour: green, solid metal spoke-effect hubs, rubber tyres, loose driver, cream riveted base
