Gordini 2.5litre Grand Prix toy car.

Another photo from Michael's own collection of Crescent toy racing cars, this time showing his Crescent Gordini GP car, finished in the French racing colour of blue, and again in very nice original condition. Amedée Gordini ran these cars in post-war F2 and F1 events, the toy shown above looking very much like the Gordini T16 of 1952 onwards, a 2 litre car that was enlarged to 2.5 over the next two seasons I believe.

Measures: 90mm in length. Approximate value £25-£30

Colour: light blue, solid metal spoke-effect hubs, rubber tyres, loose driver, cream riveted base
