This is an early 1950s Maserati produced by Dink y Toys, which was part of Meccano Ltd back then. The condition of this little diecast toy is not the best, probably classed as 'play worn' by authorities of the subject. I like to see toys either in mint original order, or else like this and showing signs of its age. I personally am not too keen on repaints as by repainting a toy, I think it erases much of the oldness of a toy. But that is just my own opinion, and I can fully understand why some collectors get a real kick from returning worn-out classic toys into as-new condition.
