Historic race-car transporters.
For years I've hunted down info about other racing car transporters on the internet, in addition to researching the Dodge I've had since 1995, and the Commer I found in 2014. Below are some of the more interesting sites I've come across that feature older transporters. If you know of others that should be featured, please drop me a line and I'll add them here.
The photograph above shows Bob Gerrard's Dodge transporter, parked at a hillclimb meeting in 1950 or 1951. Alongside is the BRM Austin Loadstar, designed to carry the V16 GP car. More photos of classic race car haulers always welcomed!
