E-Series Wyvern.
These two Vauxhall pictures turned up in a collection of pics I bought, see others in the old car photos section.
Interesting, a quick look on the motor vehicle licencing website suggests that this classic Wyvern, photographed probably in the late 1950s, was still around in the mid 1980s. Does 113 HMY still survive? I guess if it made it into the 1980s (assuming the registration records are correct), there's a chance that it survived in the hands of an enthusiast somewhere?
The MVL site suggests the car was first registered in 1980, perhaps it lost its original number and regained it in 1980?? the engine size is given as 1507cc, an engine that appeared in a number of Vauxhalls and Bedfords of the day. The last nugget of information on the MVL site suggests that the car is/was blue in colour. Other than an RAC grille badge, this old Wyvern looks pretty standard.
Other E-Series cars feature in the period car pictures section too.
