Raylor Rally - Vauxhall Magnum - 1970sThanks to Neil for sending these photos in after having seen photos from the '74 RAC Rally on oldclassiccar.Back to Car Photographs Page 3. Thanks for sending the photos over Neil! The roadgoing Vauxhall Magnum was produced between 1973 and 1978, and was basically an uprated version of the 'cooking' HC Viva, with numerous improvements to both internal and external trim, plus pokier engines to give them improved urge. The engine in the Magnum could either be a 1.8 litre or 2.3 litre slant 4. Two and four door versions were available, as were the rare estates and coupes. |
