Barry L's motoring memories.

It's always really interesting to hear from visitors to Old Classic Car who have fond memories of their early motoring experiences. Barry Lafbery kindly put finger to keyboard and came up with an excellent write-up relating to his early car purchases, and motoring encounters in general, and kindly agreed to them being shared here.
Just some of Barry's old cars
He recalls cars such as a rare Morris 10/4 Cunard Special, a Rolls-Royce 20/25 that he nearly bought, a Heinkel bubble car, plus examples of Austin 7, 500cc Norton, Austin 12/4, Vauxhall 14, Morris 8 tourer, Ford Model Y (used one time to tow an expired Cord 812!!), Singer 9, Fiat Topolino, Borgward Isabella, Ford 103E Pop, Renault Dauphine, Austin A40 Farina, Rover 14 P2, Rover P4s, plus several others.
Barry put all his memories into a PDF document, so rather than dissect that and make it fit on to a web page, I've uploaded his original document which you can find by clicking here - obviously you'll need the Adobe reader (or similar) to read it, but it's worth the effort as it's a very entertaining read. My thanks to Barry for putting all this together.
Many more tales of car ownership in years gone by can be found in the Motoring Memories section. If you have similar tales to tell, please get in touch.
