Wanted - I'm looking for a classic van, car or pickup from the 1920s-1960s
Must be original and unrestored - i.e. a Barn Find type project
If you have such a vehicle for sale, I'd be interested to hear about it. I would like to hear about anything in original, and probably unrestored, condition, that hasn't been modified or messed with significantly.
Van, pickup or car wanted
Whereas early cars, from the 1920s and 1930s are of course interesting, I guess something from the 1940s, 1950s or 1960s is more likely to turn up nowadays (I'm happy to be proved wrong mind you!). I don't mind if the vehicle has been off the road for some time, perhaps in a dusty garage or locked up in an old barn. I'd prefer something that is complete and not dismantled, some work not objected to.
I'm not bothered what type of vehicle it is - I'd be equally happy to find an old van, pickup or motorcar, anything really that is interesting and probably dating from before 1970. Later cars don't really interest me very much!!
Below is the sort of thing I would like to buy:
- Austin A35 or Morris van / pickup
- Fordson van or similar small/medium sized commercial
- Any 40s/50s British saloon car, eg Ford Pop 103E
- A tourer or drophead coupe
- Ford-based special
- but anything pre-1970 and in original order is of interest
