I have a week off next week and as seen as the weather (touch wood) is nice it would be an ideal time for me to sort out problems with some of my framework, namely around one of the doors. I have read up on somebody doing it on here which was pretty handy and gave me a load of tips.
Has anybody else got any tips / information that they can give me that I may find useful?

hi
take pictures and don't forget the timber will be in imperial sizes
door frames tend to go on the hinge side and in most cases you will have a unit that was used to strengthen the and support the door frame remove all the rotten wood and then slide a deeper piece between the ally and wood, screw a support to the inside of the unit and then screw trough that into the new timber
hope you have fun
contact me if you need help
