Was it that bad then?
Looks fairly good in the Ebay ad. I quite like these fifites Daimlers.

And, yes I know this has been brougt forward before but doesn't that supposedly "little" Chevrolet look huge next to it!

It did look solid to be fair, but the paint had flaked off in a few places and gone rusty due to being stood outside. Looking at the Ebay auction the interior has suffered as well.

You do tend to fear the worst when a derelict classic disappears though. Smile

I would be tempted to have a bid but I have no space Sad

Moggy pickup project, with its correct back and currently at £23 (no reserve), has to be a steal?

Today's little gem (ahem), a promising looking Austin 10 - oily rag candidate by the look of it

This Sunbeam Rapier fastback has potential, it's on the road and needs some minor work but at £850 (currently) it can't be bad.

This Mk1 Consul reminds me of the car that our next door neighbour owned in the 1970s. He'd regularly give it a lick of domestic paint, applied by brush, and he'd hang curious-looking wooden panels on its sides and back end while parked in the drive, presumably to protect it from something...

Love the "bought this car back in January 2013" line in the Consul advert. Isn't that only a few months ago?
Bet that needs much work hence change of mind - and is that Scottish reg original or is this another of the reissue series after plate transfer?

I did wonder how recently that re-issued number had been affixed to it myself.
