hi can anyone help identify/date this caravan as very interested in mid to late 50's to tow behind my 55 saphire

Hi judging by the interior i think this Sterling is mid to late 60s, but Sterling used the same body shape throughout its long production life , so it can pass muster as a late 50s early 60s van
My worry with this van is the rot, the normal rot areas on these vans is the lantern roof ,(see the damp patchs in the pics ) but from what i can see on this one its where the wooden floor stretchers supports the body of the van, having rotted possible from the missing wooden strike rails normally found in ths area this indicates possible rot issues elsewhere i.e floor
my advice is don't be sold over the clean interior, and ask yourself why is for sale ? if possible have a look at the van, if its for you set yourself a limit , and if you don't win ,just wait for another one to come up ! OVM

Id say early to mid 1960's, judging by the gas lights, heater and cooker. But as OVM says beware of the rot in the floor, that would be a big, but not impossible job to restore. Id say it was worth it if got at the right price, because everything else look very nice. But if you can I'd second going to have a look at it.
